I am super excited to announce that the bidding for the art show fundraiser for & is now OPEN 🥂 you can sign up online and bid on your favourite pieces 🥰

I’m so honoured and excited to have my piece, “Her Moment”, be a part of the show this year.

It was tragic that our opening night event was cancelled, but you can go to Museum London and see all the pieces in person.

*the final piece has been set in a floating frame, unfortunately the pictures I took were prior to framing*

Way to get me in the

I was watching a the other day and this line hit me so hard! 😭😭😭

For so long I though that I was failing. That my , my depression, my were just things that prevented me from being normal.

I believed that if I could just get enough discipline I could get it together and finally be normal… like everyone else.

Well, firstly, the older I get the less I think “normal” exists. We all have our struggles and challenges and we are each just doing our best to get by.

Secondly, after watching that TEDtalk I (for the first time in my life) understood that I am . That I wasn’t failing at being normal, that my brain actually works differently (which I always said anyways 🤦🏾‍♀️ ) and that it didn’t need to be “fixed”.

We don’t tell individuals with or that that need to be more normal, so why do we expect those with ADHD to get it together and be more normal? We need to accept and understand that their brains are actually different and find ways to work with it, just like we do with other neurodivergent individuals.

It seemed to funny to me that such a small thing could radically shift my perspective on this diagnosis and on myself! 🤯

If you are struggling with any brain 🧠 issues, know that you are not alone and you are not failing!

Society just hasn’t caught up yet 🥰💕

As we start a new school year I am reminded that we need to keep focus on our own goals and our own accomplishments, instead of focusing or comparing ourselves to others.

This year I started dreaming new dreams and embarking on new adventures. Luckily I have some amazing women to support me in the early stages of this dream have been inspirational and instrumental in my development 🥰 I can’t wait to see things grow and develop over the next couple months 🌱

So go out there, find your crew - tribe, gang, cohort (or whatever you call them) - and start bringing your dreams into reality ✨ ….and if you don’t have your own crew yet, you can join ours 🙌🏽

As if you even need a reason, at time there will be cake 🎂 and/or wine 🍷involved 😂
