I don’t usually share personal details here, but today feels like a moment to make an exception.

My mom is living with Alzheimer’s. And while so much has changed, one thing hasn’t—she is a huge part of who I am. She’s the reason I see beauty in small things, the one who taught me to sew and create, and the voice that nudged me to try things I wasn’t sure I could do. I miss her gentle guidance every single day.

Feeling especially grateful for her today, and for all the women who leave their mark on us in ways that last. ❤

Every design I create begins with something I notice in the world around me. My walk this morning was a perfect example. A snail was slowly making it's way across the sidewalk on my street.

I couldn’t help but wonder… was it the same little explorer I photographed last year? The one that sparked my Enchanted Garden pattern? I like to think it is.

Spring has definitely sprung around Toronto. Cherry blossoms are putting on their annual show—delicate, vibrant, and here for just a moment.

They brought me back to a pattern I designed in 2023—Cherry Bloom. Seeing it again, I can’t help but imagine it scaled up as wallpaper.

A customer recently requested my Painted Square pattern as a pillowcase—and I love how it turned out. Now I’m imagining a whole set to match our outdoor cushions this summer.

Have a pattern you’d love to see on something new? Send me a message. I love bringing custom ideas to life.

Spring has sprung in Toronto and I couldn't be happier! Everyone has an extra bounce in their step and feels a little lighter. For me it means longer walks (both to enjoy the warmer weather and pause to take umteen flower pictures) and pulling out my Sunset Patterns spring tea towels!

I’m often asked how these tea towels hold up over time, so here’s a real-life look. These three have been in regular rotation for over a year. No staging here—they were just used this morning to dry dishes, no washing or pressing before this photo.

If you’re ready to add a fresh touch of spring to your kitchen, you can find my spring design on my website.

This Earth Day feels like the perfect moment to pause and celebrate the places that inspire me most. I’m sharing three patterns that hold a special place in my heart: Sunset Trails, Cedar Stroke, and Canoe Dreams. Each one was inspired by my love of the outdoors and recent trips to Tobermory and Algonquin Provincial Park— two places that left me feeling refreshed, grateful, and creatively full.
