Seeing my quilted art piece displayed in its new space is incredibly rewarding. I love how the vibrant colours come alive against the warm yellow wall—it feels like it was meant to be there.

Exciting news! I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be an exhibitor at the Bala Cranberry Festival from October 16–18, 2026!

I’m already dreaming up a special cranberry-inspired pattern to celebrate the show and would love your help. Do you have a favourite cranberry photo, field, colour palette, or local Ontario cranberry inspiration that you think I should capture in a design? I’d love to see it!

One of my happy places has always been sailing. It's when life slows down a little and I let breeze take me where it pleases.

Recently, I had the chance to ride the trapeze on a Hobie Catamaran—and wow! I think I've found a new happy place: flying off the side of a boat at 19 knots (about 35 km/h). What an incredible rush!

Don't be surprised if the vibrant colours of the Hobie sail make their way into a future Sunset Patterns design.

Sometimes the best customer photos deserve a permanent spot on my feed. ❤️

A customer recently chose my Large Market Tote in the Vintage Meadow (Dark) pattern as a gift for her mom's milestone birthday.

When her mom opened it, everyone noticed something amazing… she was already wearing a dress that was almost a perfect match for the tote!

I guess her daughter knew exactly which pattern to choose.

There's something so special about giving a gift that feels like it was made just for someone. Thank you for sharing this beautiful photo—it absolutely made my day!

We escaped to Prince Edward Island for a few days to see The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald at Harmony House —an incredible playhouse that I highly recommend if you ever have the chance to go!

As always, the island was full of inspiration. From the vibrant purple lupins to the iconic red soil and endless blue ocean, every turn was bursting with colour. It's impossible not to come home with fresh ideas after spending time in such a beautiful place.

I was recently commissioned to design custom kitchen curtains for a client's cottage, and it was so much fun bringing this project to life. The goal was to create a pattern that would complement the teal curtains in the adjoining living room while still bringing a bright, fresh feel to the kitchen.

Starting with my Lemon pattern, I experimented with colour inversions to create a variety of fresh new looks. It's amazing how simply changing the colours can completely transform a pattern and give it a whole new personality.
