For years I ran every decision through five other people before I trusted it was mine. A friend, a sibling, a coworker, whoever picked up the phone first (yes, the group chat counts). I decided their read on my life was more accurate than mine, and that meant I was never the one who could be wrong.

Come to find out, the answer was usually sitting there before I made a single call.

Looking for events in Toronto this October? Here's where I'll be, and yes, I'm already planning around Costco pumpkin pie.

Five stops this month. A world congress, a summit, a wellness day, a mentorship talk, and a vendor market in Aurora. (One of those is a private event, so no tickets to hunt down.)

The Aurora market runs until 9:30 pm on a Thursday, which makes it an after-work stop. Come straight from the office, grab a notebook, and tell me what you're working on.

I feel things loudly. Always have. I used to think that was something to manage, tone down, apologize for.

Turns out it's the whole reason PleaseNotes exists. I built it because I needed somewhere to put all of it, and now I get to ask other people to feel something too, on purpose, out loud, without shrinking it first.

Still the same girl who cries easily and cares too much. It just has a job title now.
