The Toronto-by-way-of-Guelph Emma Worley gives us nine tracks on “Forever Beginner” that burrow into our minds 🍂✨

Produced with Ben Whiteley, who has previously worked and performed with Julia Jacklin and The Weather Station, Worley’s album is a funny and tender look at trying to keep all together. With folk and country, and notes of Americana, Worley’s sophomore record is vulnerable but a comfortable, warm listen.

Singer and songwriter Teagan Littlechief was awarded a SOCAN No. 1 Song Award for her track “Rezzified.” It hit the top of the Indigenous Music Chart on Aug. 3, 2026. “Rezzified” is the first song released by Littlechief that was written entirely by herself. The award was presented to Littlechief by SOCAN’s Sienna Saint-Laurent.

“Pawn the light”- Milimetrik (feat. Dom Pelletier)

Over in Québec City, and beyond, Millimetrik is a pivotal figure and a composer with a rightful reputation as a pioneer of the city’s electronic music scene. ⭐️
Over his two-decade-long career, he’s collaborated with artists from all horizons and mediums, even exploring various performing arts, including theatre and dance. His upcoming album “À une distance de l’étincelle” is slated for release on October 16.
