PACHA Indigenous Art Collection

PACHA Indigenous Art Collection PACHA Indigenous Arts Collection is a family run business. Pacha (meaning "earth" in Kichwa) aims to showcase the best of indigenous arts and crafts.

We are an indigenous family owned business based in Toronto. We strive to create an indigenous world, connecting our traditions from North (Turtle Island) and South America (Abya Yala), fulfilling the prophecy of the condor and eagle. Pacha Arts acknowledges and collaborates with indigenous artists across the city and country, supporting all creative forms.

Incredibly grateful to have been a part of this years Seeing Red Runway of Rezilience 🔥🙌🏽 This space that has been building for 3 years goes strong and one of our biggest highlights was being recognized and celebrated for our work which reflects we are as Kichwa peoples.

This years theme was Skywalkers, those who built our cities with sheer strength, skill, and dedication. Our grandfather was one of those workers on sky rise buildings, contracted because he would do dangerous work that no one else would. He was a steelworker that committed his life to his family and livelihood.

Steelwork led to metal, metal led to armour, and armour is what led to these designs by Kinoo Arcentales for this collection MUSHUK PACHA | New Timeline. A time where we are defenders of our heritage, lands, and waters.

This collection is an exploration of what it would look like to turn fabrics into armour using western silhouettes. It’s a total mind bend 🔥

Yupaychani Seeing Red for opening up the space to Indigenous Southerners ❤️ yupaychani for the new relationships built and seeds planted ✨ for seeing our work as needed.

Our latest collab ✨ with Warawas💚 😍 We came together to celebrate something that unifies us all 🌎🌍🌏

Designed by Pacha Arts Mama Pati Cajas, this pin went through various versions, until we found the perfect way to represent the love of sport, while centering Toronto’s iconic CN Tower. As one of the host cities in this World Cup, this was super important for us.

Toronto is home to one the most diverse populations in the Americas. We celebrate a sport that only requires a ball and the desire to succeed, uniting peoples across the globe. Unity that we also build through our work as an Indigenous family.

May you have an amazing time in Tkaronto, our home and territory of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and the Mississaugas of the Credit River.

This pin is hand painted on wood.

Yovegami Ascona Mora’s Boca Vieja offers a sensitive and complex portrait of the director’s ancestral home in southern Mexico. The film lingers with equal care on the beauty of the sea and the beauty of the people who live alongside it, shaped by deep relationships to land and water. At the same time, the film traces the resilience of a community navigating the ebb and flow of daily life while resisting the persistent threat of territorial dispossession. Poetic and attentive, the film invites viewers to witness a living landscape where memory, place, and environmental change are deeply intertwined.

The sea is huge, the sea is a woman, the sea is delightful. Beautiful things are kept inside. She is a woman named Maria.
