This is Beethoven-Haus in Bonn, the birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven.

Doesn't it seem fitting that this place will be used to shelter victims of the humanitarian crisis now unfolding, as millions leave their home in Ukraine?

Let us remember too, that it was Beethoven's 9th Symphony that was performed live in Berlin as the wall came down in 1989.

The institution launched an initiative to provide living space, work opportunities, and benefit concerts with and for musicians in need from Ukraine.

In this way, artists receive most of the money generated from sales, unlike streaming sites like Spotify, where artists earn about $0.0035 per track. Think about that.........what would it take to earn minimum wage under those circumstances?
