Mark Montano Beaded Fabric Moths are already getting a LOT of attention on his page, and we can see why! He takes scrap fabric, embroidery and plenty of John Bead Czech glass seed beads and turns them into these incredible little works of art.

New Free Pattern: Spooky Cute Witch
Halloween beading has officially begun! Our newest free pattern is designed by Jayne of Bead Crumbs Hawaii for John Bead. Jayne has created an adorable little witch using brick stitch, with detailed instructions that make this a great project for learning how to build, increase and decrease rows.
Jayne designed the pattern with John Bead Cylin™ 11/0 beads in Black, Yellow, Spring Green, Toasted Almond, Pink Ceylon and Gray Glow in the Dark. That glowing gray border is a particularly fun touch for Halloween.
The free tutorial includes the complete bead graph, color legend and step by step brick stitch diagrams, so you can follow along from the foundation rows right through to the finished witch.

Our newest class for Michaels Stores is now available!
Fun and Floral Earrings is such a great project for playing with color. Deb Floros uses lightweight acrylic flower beads and John Bead seed beads to create these fun, fringed earrings with lots of movement.
Deb Floros takes you through the project step by step, including how to layer the flowers, create the beaded fringe and finish the earrings.
I especially love the Candy Mix for this project. There is no need to plan the colors. Just let the mix do the work!
