Championing visual arts in North America, the Sweet Sixteen Showstopper Award is an exclusive recognition for each show’s stand-out artist. It honours unique talent, spotlighting those who push boundaries and set new standards in artistic creativity.

is a visual artist from rural Eastern Ontario. Her formal education includes a
Studio Arts Diploma from Sheridan Institute, along with a BA in Fine Arts and Psychology from Bishops’ University. After completing an illustration intensive in Worcester, England, she pursued an internship under the tutelage of Wendy Wacko through Mountain Galleries, where she fell in love with the beauty and talent of the Canadian art community. Upon returning to Ontario, she and her family settled in Finch, where she opened Victoria Street Studios. From there, she has continued to develop her own artistic practice, while teaching workshops around the region. Her work can be found in both private and public collections across Canada.

is an acrylic figurative painter exploring the individuality, strength, and idiosyncrasies found in the feminine. Her art is influenced by her fascination with expressive personal style and the story of color as it intertwines with memory. Jen has lived and worked as an art teacher and artist in Michigan, California, Washington and her current (and childhood) home of Calgary, where she lives with her husband and two teenage girls.
