So, what exactly is JerkFest Cares NEXT?

NEXT is our youth-focused initiative centred on creating greater access to opportunities through:

✨ Mentorship
✨ Skills development
✨ Entrepreneurship
✨ Career exposure

The goal is simple: help more young people connect with experiences, guidance and opportunities that can help them build what comes next.

We’ll be sharing more about the vision — and what NEXT can look like in practice — throughout the Gala campaign.

2023. 2024. 2025. Every year has added another chapter to the JerkFest Cares Holiday Gala. 🖤✨

The photos change, the looks change and the memories keep growing — but the best part is always the people who come together.

As we head into 2026, we’re also thinking about what’s NEXT: how we can use that same community energy to help create more opportunities for young people.

Next chapter: December 5.

✨ A great night. An even greater purpose. ✨
This year, the JerkFest Cares Holiday Gala is about more than dressing up, enjoying great food and celebrating together. It’s about what comes NEXT. 🖤💛

Introducing JerkFest Cares NEXT, our youth-focused initiative created to help build greater access to mentorship, skills development, real-world work experience, career pathways and entrepreneurship opportunities for Black and Caribbean youth.
From festival production and engineering to marketing, social media, vendor mentorship and more, our goal is to give young people opportunities to learn, connect, grow and see what’s possible for their future.
Because sometimes one opportunity, one mentor or one experience can open the door to something much bigger. ✨

Join us as we celebrate with purpose at the JerkFest Cares Holiday Gala: A Black & Gold Affair.

to a weekend filled with culture, flavour, family and incredible local talent! 🇯🇲🔥🎶

From exploring the stories and traditions inside our Cultural Tent, to catching live cooking demonstrations in the Culinary Demo Tent, there was something happening in every corner of JerkFest Toronto.

Families came together to eat, laugh, learn and make memories, while our Vibes Stage kept the energy going with some amazing local performers representing Reggae, Soca, R&B, Gospel, Afrobeats and more. 🎤✨

These are the moments we love looking back on. ❤️

Swipe through for a little JerkFest throwback and tell us: what was your favourite part of the festival this year? 👀👇🏾

✨ THEN ➡️ NOW… AND WE’RE STILL GROWING! 🖤💛

It started in 2023 with a vision to bring our community together during the holiday season for an unforgettable evening of celebration, connection and culture.

Then came 2024… and we elevated the experience.

By 2025, the JerkFest Cares Holiday Gala had become a night our community looks forward to — beautiful people, incredible energy, great food, music, dancing and memories that last long after the night is over.

Now here we are heading into YEAR FOUR! 🥂✨

Swipe through and take a little trip down memory lane with us. From our very first Gala in 2023 to 2025, you can see the growth, the familiar faces and the moments that have made each year special.

And trust us… 2026 is about to add another chapter. 👀🔥
