Swing by our place Thursday, August 8th for “A REAL HAFLA”!

Hafla; ‎حفلة is the Arabic word for party 🎊 If you’re a bellydancer in this part of the world, you know that our “haflas” are not typically the most traditional and true to Middle Eastern and North African Roots 📚🌍

Usually, people are packed into a studio or theatre, to watch beautiful performances and there’s not much “party-ing” going on 🎭.

This event was created to change that! For only $20 you can enjoy a diverse roster of bellydancers from around the GTA, an amazing DJ (), DANCEFLOOR, SPECIAL GUESTS, LIVE MUSIC, COSTUME SALE, and DANCING ALL NIGHT!

Her Buddha Belly Presents: Raqs al Assaya (saidi style folkloric bellydance) vs. Tahtib (Egyptian Martial Art) volume 2! This exclusive workshop features the best of both worlds under one roof. Bellydance performer and instructor Jaicyea and Adam Myrie, COO of Historical African Martial Arts Association will join forces on March 31, 2pm-3:30pm at 35 Golden Avenue Railpath Arts Centre, Toronto. We are excited for you to experience the rhythmic beats, explore the historical African roots, and elevate your assaya and tahtib technique. Open to all ages and levels. 🌍💃🥋
