Brought into being with a very specific agenda i.e. 'To promote electronic music, provide a platform to the upcoming local talent and showcase an exquisitely astonishing musical experience for both artists and fans,' TECH TRIP is a community based in Toronto whose main focus is towards Underground Electronic Music. TECH TRIP was initially started by Hamza Noor & Jasarat Ali in 2011 as a registered
student community called ‘Tech Trip at York’ based in York University, Toronto whose goal was and still is ‘To foster harmony among students and communities through a socially accepted, diverse and universally known medium called Electronic Music.’
TECH TRIP was born in 2013 with a focus on DJ and Live Act performances producing, playing & providing the kind of electronic music that is unheard of with an aim to provide the crowd with most innovative parties possible, both in terms of music quality and the overall experience. We believe in consistency and thus our motto is ‘We go for the sound.’
TECH TRIP is currently led by Jasarat Ali (Founder & Internal Affairs Coordinator), Hamza Noor (Co-Founder), Aleksandar Kojic (Booking Manager & Podcast Host), Andrew Stephan (Head of Promotions) , Mian Zain (President Tech Trip at York)
