Marco Sassone is an internationally acclaimed painter currently based in Toronto, Canada. Influenced by the expressive brushwork of his early studies, Sassone developed a distinctive style rooted in vibrant color and emotional depth. He has explored themes of identity, displacement, urban landscapes, and the natural world through painting, drawing, and printmaking. His work has been exhibited internationally and is held in numerous public and private collections, with notable recognition.
Fun fact: Owner Jeannie and her husband, Gregg, were married at Moss Point. This painting holds a little extra significance for us because of that connection
