Kaha:wi Dance Theatre is hosting a 3 day immersive embodied workshop "Moving Pathways" as a part of our Inviting the Land to Shape Us series. Co-facilitators Taane Mete and Santee Smith will lead sessions:

Taane shares his transformative Hauora - Holistic practice where science and Indigenous culture come together to regulate and restore the body, through breath, song and somatic movement to release tension, restore balance, and strengthen connection to spirit -wairua.

Santee’s sessions focus on embodied alignment through body scanning, grounding, movement, clay activations, and nature-based practices that support nervous system regulation, creativity, and personal renewal. Her sessions address neuroplasticity, and personal alignment with creative and natural energies while centring Rotinoshonni knowledge.
