This is "La Grande Hermine" based on the sad rusting hulk that still sits in a Lake Ontario lagoon near Jordan, Ontario. On a moonlit night,it's still an evocative spot. Painted with oils on canvas.

This is "Le Jongleur" a hybrid of a Salvator Mundi (Saviour of the World), with a Court Jester, or a version of the Medieval French entertainers known as jongleurs/juggler. The frame is a casetta frame, done in rennaissance style. I painted it in alkyd oils and built the frame from pine with some real gold leaf. There is some real lapis lazuli pigment in the blue of the painting.

This little painting is one being shown at the Steve Wilson Studios and the Gallery in Niagara Falls. It is painted in alkyd oils, on a poplar panel. It is called "The Flutist".
