SummerSeries in Trillium Park at Ontario Place welcomes Indigenous Sounds Now on July 19, 2026, with a live performance by Nadjiwan from 8:00 – 9:00 pm!

Nadjiwan is the long-running musical project of Toronto/Thunder Bay–based singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer Marc Meriläinen, a member of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation, Cape Croker. For over three decades, Nadjiwan has blended alternative rock with Indigenous storytelling, creating music rooted in lived experience, cultural memory, and forward momentum.

Nadjiwan continues to honour ancestral narratives while pushing rock music forward—creating work that is urgent, grounded, and deeply resonant across generations.

Nadjiwan est le projet musical de longue date du chanteur-compositeur, guitariste et producteur Marc Meriläinen, basé à Toronto/Thunder Bay, membre de la Première Nation chippewa de Nawash, Cape Croker. Depuis plus de trente ans, Nadjiwan a fusionné le rock alternatif avec la narration autochtone, créant une musique ancrée dans l’expérience vécue, la mémoire culturelle et l’élan d’avance.

SummerSeries in Trillium Park at Ontario Place welcomes Indigenous Sounds Now on July 19, 2026, from 3 – 9pm!

The cultures, stories and songs of Indigenous People will be shared at Indigenous Sounds Now, curated by Elaine Bomberry. Guiding this musical journey is Host Donna Sound, who is a reporter for CTV’s National News ‘Indigenous Circle’. The incredible range of vibrations go from the heart felt beats of the Eagleheart Singers & Drummers, a traditional Pow Wow drum, DJ’s Classic Roots and DJ Kimivn who blend Electronica fusion with Indig rhythms. The Healers bring some of their good ole’ Six Nations soulful blues. Marc Nadjiwan also hits the stage with powerful lyrics and real slick alt-rock grooves.

FestivalEstival au parc Trillium à la Place de l’Ontario acceuille Indigenous Sounds Now le 19 juillet, 2026 de 15 h à 21 h!

Les cultures, histoires et chants des peuples autochtones seront partagés à Indigenous Sounds Now, organisé par Elaine Bomberry. À la guide de ce parcours musical se trouve l’animatrice Donna Sound, qui est journaliste pour l’« Indigenous Circle » des National News de CTV. L’incroyable gamme de vibrations part des battements du cœur de The Eagleheart Singers & Drummers, un tambour pow-wow traditionnel, le DJ Classic-Roots et la DJ Kimivn qui mêle fusion électronique à des rythmes indig. The Healers apportent un peu de leur bon vieux blues soul des Six Nations. Nadjiwan monte aussi sur scène avec des paroles puissantes et de vrais grooves alt-rock fluides.

Get moving this summer with Yoga in Trillium Park at Ontario Place!

Back again, the program brings an enhanced lineup of classes designed to energize your weekends and connect you with community in fresh ways. Expect unique experiences like Acro Yoga Fusions, Yoga Dance Parties with Dance Alchemy, Awaken with JUNGLETO (a yoga + fitness fusion), plus Pilates, live music, and guided meditation.

These free, all-level classes run rain or shine on Saturdays and Sundays at 10 a.m.

No registration needed—just show up with your mat, a water bottle, and sun protection (sunscreen + hat recommended), and you’re set for a morning of movement, breath, and connection.

SummerSeries in Trillium Park at Ontario Place welcomes Summer Live Music Festival on July 18, 2026, from 4 - 10pm!

SING! and the Emerging Artists Association present their annual free event, featuring two dynamic programs: Live Jazz and SING! in the Summer. Audiences will enjoy performances by four award-winning emerging bands and three a ca****la groups, showcasing a vibrant mix of original jazz, beatboxing, world, and pop music. Enjoy live performances by Retrocity, The Loo Wops Quartet, Scott Jackson & Dr. Draw, Ori Dagan Quintet, Spencer Mackenzie and Orquesta C4, as well as food and drink offerings. Bring a blanket or chair and settle in on the lawn for a relaxed evening of free live music.

SING! et l’Emerging Artists Association présente son événement gratuit annuel dans le cadre du FestivalEstival au parc Trillium à la Place de l’Ontario. L’événement proposera deux programmes dynamiques : Live Jazz et SING! in the Summer. Le public appréciera les performances de quatre groupes émergents primés et de trois groupes a ca****la, mettant en valeur un mélange vibrant de jazz original, de beatboxing, de musique du monde et de pop. 🌞🌇Wavelength Summer Thing returns with double the stages!

This annual celebration of live music returns to SummerSeries in Trillium Park. With a main stage and lake stage, local talent will shine in genres ranging from indie-folk to alternative hip-hop to Afro-Brazilian percussion.

In addition to this robust line-up of performers, the FREE event will feature a mouth-watering selection of food and drink by the waterfront park. Shop hand-made wares from independent vendors and participate in interactive art installations for all ages.
