What a magical year this has been for the Heart & Soul Drama Club!! Peter Pan & The Little Mermaid were both fantastic, and performed to cheering crowds. Thank you to the performers, to the parents, to the crew, to all the volunteers, and to our audiences!!

YES! The rumours are true! The Heart & Soul Drama Club WILL perform again! Weekly Sunday rehearsals to start January 9th for a show (TBD) at the beginning of June. Kids grades 2+. Proof of vaccination required. Email [email protected] for more info. (Please don't reply via FB for more info--I'm rarely on FB, but I check my email frequently.)

The Heart & Soul Drama Club 2020-2021 Season

We have a (very) few spots available for children (who will be in grades 3-12 next year) to join the Heart & Soul Drama Club.

Drama Club meets weekly via Zoom during social distancing, so the time to join is NOW. We play drama games, sing, and dance together virtually every Sunday afternoon and will do so as long as we are social distancing.

Email [email protected] for more information and/or to reserve a space for your child. Spots will be filled on a first-come basis.

In order to be a part of Drama Club kiddos must:

1. commit to being a part of a kind and inclusive community
2. be a team player
3. (after social distancing is over) be available most Sundays from September through March for rehearsals before and/or after church (excluding holidays)
4. be willing to work very hard to memorize lyrics, lines, cues, and choreography
5. have enthusiasm

You do NOT need any prior experience in drama, dance, or singing.

Why join the Heart & Soul Drama Club?
Most of the kids in the drama club will tell you that it's a great way to make friends and grow in self-confidence and that the pay-off of a successful show after a ton of hard work is very rewarding!

Tomorrow is the opening night for Harry Potter: A Musical Show! Our Saturday show is SOLD OUT! I have a few tickets left for Friday (tomorrow) if anyone would like to purchase them.

We were too busy during the dress rehearsal to take many pictures, but here's one of Dumbledore and Harry . . . I wonder what wise Professor Dumbledore is telling Harry?
