Meet the Artist!

Yaara Eshet was born in Israel. She studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and has since cultivated a prolific career as an illustrator and artist in Israel and Canada.
She has illustrated over 30 books—for children, youth, and adults. Since 1990, Eshet has exhibited her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions across museums and galleries and various art fairs in Israel and Canada.

Ya’ara Eshet has lived in Toronto since 2003 with her family and an ever-changing number of cats.

Bayview Art Tours (BAT) announces a final Call for Artists for the Fall Annual Art in the Park for one weekend only - September 21-22, 2024.

Now in its 24th year, the BAT is free to the public and features artists from multiple disciplines. This beloved neighbourhood event draws art enthusiasts and families with a wide variety of hand-made art and hands-on creativity. This weekend has become a staple of the Bayview community as we enter the scenic fall season.

This show is open to all artists and craftspeople who exhibit artwork of their own concept, design, and ex*****on.

ENTRY DEADLINE: JULY 22, 2024

Along with the completion of this application and processing fee, each applicant must submit four (4) current images of their work. Please do not provide thumbnail images. The digital images must show the proportions of the work that is for sale. In addition to digital images, please provide a short bio for marketing purposes.

ELIGIBILITY:

This show is open to all artists/craftspersons who exhibit work of their own concept, design, and ex*****on. Artwork that is imported, mass-produced, or manufactured will NOT be accepted.
