✨ Battle of the Crags ✨
My newest creation — a sculptural chess set in the kurinuki technique, laid on a live-edge wooden board. Each tile resembles the clash of two ancient stones: white marble against the dark, bronze-green force of volcanic rock.
This work has never been shown to the public. I have submitted it only to a competition and for a future magazine feature — but my followers are the very first to witness it.
A meeting of play and sculpture, of nature’s raw geology and human intention. ♟️
