Solo Leveling: Sung Jin-Woo

I recently read this series and immediately fell in love with the characters. The level of explosive actions and vivid artworks displayed in this manhwa elevates the story so much. The dynamism from the drawings and flow of the panels gave the action a palpable sense of underlying motion.

I strayed away from my usual art style and used a more graphic style to bring this character to life. Let me know what you guys think!

At the beginning, I found it really hard to connect to anything I create digitally. I have always loved the process of creating something traditionally on a canvas with paint. Transitioning from a very physical canvas to a digital one has been challenging. I’m starting to move away from trying to make something look smooth and polished and bringing the rawness of brush strokes and imperfect shapes into my digital work. I hope you like this piece and I’d love to hear your thoughts! 🥰
