A passion project? Something I started for fun that I’m hoping turns into how I pay rent? Both?
It’s about an average person doing the best they can to navigate the world with the resources, knowledge, and skill set they have. It’s about finding happiness and satisfaction in a culture that seems to be built around preventing that. It’s about how absolutely terrifying even smallest things can be, and how big the world can feel when you’re alone. It’s about trying your best and failing anyway. It’s about the hopelessness that can swallow you with knowing that even if you could afford to live a worthwhile life the planets burning anyway.
It’s also about how incredible being alive is and how fun those super mundane things and weird messy existence can be with friends. It’s about a person that just wants to do fun stuff with the people they care about but can’t because the world and needing to survive keep getting in the way.
All that explored through a little generic grey ambiguous they and five alien bears in a bright, bouncy, fun world.
Ideally it’ll eventually exist as a cartoon, video game, and physical art. Working on demos and samples of all 3 right now
