Can the sea hold a memory? Can the stones tell the story of time?

Package arrived LALA Contemporary all the way from Newfoundland!!!! 📦📦📦

And I'm thrilled to open it with all of you!…. Before the upcoming solo exhibition, INTO YOUR WATERS ✨🌊🌊

All the works were created by Vivian Guggenheim during her July & August residency at Pouch Cove

Her work explores landscape, water, memory, and time—and I love the question at the heart of the exhibition:
Can the sea hold a memory?

I hope you’ll get a chance to come and see her show.

A few days behind the scenes at the — with walking the pavilions, colateral events and revisiting the details, getting lost (professionally) in the performances, installations, exhibits and making sure every stop on next week’s art tour is worth the pause.

Current status: pretending we’re “researching” 🙂while actually having way too much fun before the Amazing group arrives!

Can’t wait to share it all next week.✨
