Let me say the last 48 hours (up to writing this, the morning of December 2) have been very gratifying.

First, all the notes and comments, cards and acknowledgements - in response to my birthday and then, last night, the amazing turnout for the end of this chapter of But That's Another Story at the Rivoli, here in Toronto.

For a long while I have known that I am truly blessed, not only because for the most part I have lived my passions, but also I have been so fortunate to be surrounded by people who care - family and good friends, parnters, collaborators and people I work and play with.

So thank you - to the tellers who came out to last night's BTAS show and those who always answered the call when asked to perform; to the regular audience members for storytelling shows that I produced; to family and friends who put up with let's call them my "ecentricities" and allowed me to be...me.

Although this incarnation of But That's Another Story is done, to quote noted Yankee 20th centruy philosopher, Yogi Berra, "it ain't over until it is over" and it ain't over.

With less than a week to go before our next, But That's Another Story, Sunday November 3rd at & 7:30 pm (doors open at 7:00), it's time to feature another of our performers - the winner of our first every "Tell on our Next Show" draw, Eddy Morassutti.

Eddy joins our stellar lineup: Panagiota Vogdou, Randall C. Willis, Nina Keogh, and feature performer, Ryan Belleville.

Although Eddy has seen many storytelling events, he is new to being a Storyteller. He has been retired for three years and has been keeping himself very busy with spending time with people that he cares about and people who care.

Whilte working in Quality Management in the Food Industry for 35 years, Eddy also ventured on the stage.

Some of his favorite roles include: Franklin Sheppard in Merrily We Roll Along (Scarborough Music Theatre), The Baker in Into The Woods (SMT), Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz (SMT), Bobby in Crazy For You (Yorkmintrels) and Elliot Garfield in The Goodbye Girl (SMT).

Part of the evening's proceeds will be donated to the Haven Shelter.

The legendary Briane Nasimok (But That's Another Story) joins us this FRIDAY, June 16 at Society Clubhouse for Replay Storytelling presents Caught Off Guard!

Briane Nasimok has had too many other careers before focusing on storytelling this last decade.

After credits as a television writer and producer, minor Canadian film star, recovering comedian, playwright and theatre director, live event producer, he ventured back to performing with the creation of his one-person Fringe show “Confessions of an Operatic Mute’, his story of touring North America, onstage, with the Canadian Opera Company, while not uttering or singing a word."

He is the co-producer and co-host of the monthly storytelling show, But That’s Another Story, and creator of Fringe shows, "Now Where Was I" and "Izzy and the Naz".
