A ceramic sculpture housing a fern from Ontario. Glazes inspired by a lithium mine in the Atacama Desert. Currently sharing space in the International Ceramic Art Fair (ICAF).

Anders Herwald Ruhwald , Danish sculptor and 2024 Guggenheim Fellow, presents his work at ICAF 2026 across two distinct series, both rooted in themes of care. One features a local plant, placing it into a system where it must be watered and tended to, becoming a reflection of the institution itself. Another draws its palette from the evaporation pools of lithium mines: those vast, otherworldly expanses of color that make the green transition possible and visible.
