What does it mean to live with the land?
That's the question at the heart of Eve Tagny's (Eve T ) installation Excavated Junctures, presented at the Gardiner Museum’s International Ceramic Art Fair 2026. The Montreal-based artist has created an immersive excavation site: a platform that visitors are invited to step onto, where soil slowly dries and shifts over the course of the exhibition, and ceramic vessels, shaped to recall the body, speak to themes of support, grief, and belonging.
Woven into the glazes: soil Tagny brought back from Cameroon. Subtle, but present. A reminder that where we come from is always part of what we create.
