The ART show at North York Central Library was a resounding success! Thanks to all who attended! I was wonderful to see you all and catch up. A special thanks to Sandi for the lovely Easter Lily. It added to the snack table. I appreciate my cousin Joanne coming with Rina. Agnes with Melinda plus Lynne and Linda H. . Dazzling Dana and my dear friend, film maker Kim Stadfeld. From Hamilton art enthusiast Carlita. Other sent well-wishes. David and I appreciated your support. xoxox It was a great afternoon. The runs until April 29th.

Hello Everyone !!! Just a note with directions for those wishing to attend the Art Show reception tomorrow (Saturday). It is at--
NORTH YORK CENTRAL LIBRARY
5120 Yonge Street
Its on the second floor, above the Teen Zone.
Underground parking can be accessed from Beecroft Rd.
(1 street West of Yonge), also there is a lot on Beecroft as well.
THE LIFEWORKS OF HEDY CATHERINA SCAMBIA is on the second floor.. The reception is adjacent in room 2/3 from 1pm to 4pm.
I look forward to seeing you there. The show runs until APRIL 29th.

Well, this is the lady of the hour- HEDY CATHERINA SCAMBIA. My artistic, creative, iconoclastic mom. She was really something special. Her determination was only matched by her independent spirit. She created a huge body of work- a legacy that I hope to share on this page. I have been storing her artwork, but it really needs to shine, to grace someone's walls and make them smile.
This wasn't her bike, she asked a big burly biker if she could get a pic on it. Amused, he agreed.
Tomorrow we set up her solo show at North York Central Library. It runs from April 2nd to April 29th.
You are welcome to visit... and if you are free attend a reception on Saturday April 4th from 1pm-4pm, on the second floor, right beside the gallery display. Feel free to share this info with anyone you know who may be interested in some lovely paintings at a reasonable cost. Ciao for now-- Carmelitta
