That’s what I love about weathering my kits. Chipped armour, dusty feet, scuffed shields—those little details help me imagine the missions, the rough landings, and the crew keeping everything running between battles.
Even a standing pose can tell a story. Back for repairs? Waiting for its next deployment? Barely made it home? The finish gives you clues.
If you’ve been nervous about weathering, start small. A few chips on an edge. Some dirt around the feet. Pick a detail and imagine what caused it. You don’t have to master every technique to give your build some history.
