If I’m not facilitating workshops or coaching sessions for mission-driven organizations, conferences, or community events outside of my 9 to 5… there’s a high chance you’ll find me dancing on a stage 🤭
Yesterday, I had the honour of being invited by to their Annual Brunch alongside my dear friend and I’m still buzzing 🙌🏾.
I’m truly in awe of the beautiful community that and have built. Having attended their events before, I knew to expect something intentional, well-curated, and rooted in excellence… and they still found a way to elevate it even more 👌🏾.
Black Queens of Durham is yet another example of how powerful sisterhood can be when we join forces; genuinely supporting one another, sharing tools, networks, and resources, and setting each other up for success. I’ve said it many times: we don’t have to do it alone.
Thank you, Fatim & Asha, for trusting us to lead an interactive dance experience for your guests 💃🏾.
And a special thank you to my sister at heart, Fatim Sylla (yes, same last name 😉), for always supporting my multiple endeavours, constantly hiring me, and sharing my services with your network. You truly embody what women’s empowerment looks like, and I pray it comes back to you tenfold 🙏🏾.
The cherry on top was experiencing ’s powerful motivational speech and performance. I had the opportunity to work with her years ago, and every interaction since has been soul-filling. Experiencing her magnificent presence and wisdom is truly a blessing 😌.
Congratulations again on such a beautiful and successful 🌺.
