A q***r disability s*x-positive performance,
Access Me is provocative, intimate, and hot
by the Boys in Chairs Collective
We have two ASL performances scheduled on:
Saturday June 17, 8pm and Wednesday June 21, 8pm.
Access Me is a fun, s*xy, and all-access exploration of the lived experience of three q***r disabled men featuring creators & performers Andrew Gurza, Frank Hull, and Ken Harrower. Audiences are invited to join these three charismatic performers for a personal exploration and public celebration of q***r s*xuality and disability. In Access Me, Andrew, Frank, and Ken have come together to create a space where we can all speak to experiences that rarely, if ever, are seen on stage. You can see Access Me at Aki Studio this June 16th - 24th.
Award-winning disability awareness consultant Andrew Gurza is known for hosting his podcast Disability After Dark and founder of Bump’n, a s*x toy company for and by disabled people. Over his 15-year career, Frank Hull —originally a choir vocalist— has distinguished himself as one of Canada's most prominent power wheelchair choreographers and dancers. Ken Harrower, the oldest student to graduate from the Toronto Film School, has appeared in multiple films and has been the subject of two CBC documentaries about his life. In development for the past eight years, Access Me was recently published by Playwrights Canada Press in the first Canadian anthology of disability plays, Interdependent Magic: Disability Performance in Canada.
