May 🫶🏽

My favourite month of the year so far!

A month of pushing past my own limits, embracing new challenges, and reminding myself that I’m living the dream I once prayed for🙏🏽

Even when life gets hard, busy, and hectic, I find myself pausing to remember that I am exactly where I’m meant to be, doing what I love and building the life I once only imagined✨

Grateful for every lesson, every opportunity, and every step of the journey🫶🏽

Cancer has touched so many lives, including those closest to us. This year, I had the privilege of creating this art piece for the princess Margaret cancer foundation for the cricket event in support of cancer research. An artpiece that represents hope, resilience, community and the fight against cancer🏏🎗️🧡

Creating this piece for has been so special to me 💛

This Sunday, I’ll be running the 10K again alongside my friends and family to support an incredible cause that truly hit home for me last year.

So I wanted to give back in the only way I truly know how… through art 🎨

This one-of-one artwork was uniquely created for Campfire Circle, designed together through brainstorming, emotion, and intention✍🏽

Every detail in this piece was created for something bigger than myself, for Campfire Circle ♥️

100 excuses later… I ran my first half-marathon! ✨

I’m genuinely so proud of myself for making it through. It was tough. Up until this morning, my mind was thinking of every excuse possible not to run. I thought I was getting sick, so I shouldn’t run. I thought I might hurt my knees, so I shouldn’t run. I thought I had too much work to do. I thought my mom would be mad at me if I hurt myself, so I shouldn’t run… and that wasn’t even the half of it.

But deep down, I knew I was going to do it no matter what. It felt like a do or die battle in my mind. I kept telling myself, “If I get through this, I’ll be so proud of myself and I’ll have the courage to run a full marathon one day.”

The race had so many uphill and downhill moments that I definitely did not train for, but now I know what to work on next time. It was hard, but I loved it. I got to set new limits for myself.

Loved this experience. Time to start training for a full marathon! 💪🏽
