Pony Cam is an experimental performance collective made up of five artists from around Australia.

Recently someone said in rehearsal that, "Pony Cam makes dance look as hard as it actually is". And although difficult, we're optimistic in sharing some snaps of our upcoming dance work: 'kinda like that' 🆕

In about a month's time, 'kinda like that' will premier at the world famous 🩰 Fall for Dance festival NEW YORK CITY CENTER.

Working with designers Harrie Hogan, Robbie Divine, Paula Levis, and producer Dans Maree Sheehan / Parrot Ox.

We will stand in front of 2000 audience members on a historic stage, reinterpreting and reviving moments from over 100 choreographers - programmed across the festival's history.

Yesterday we launched an extended off broadway season of Burnout Paradise in NYC.

It’s been two years since we premiered this show at

A show we pitched out of sheer exhaustion.
A show we couldn’t afford to make.
A show we hoped would help us get fit.
A show we created in an oily, disused warehouse.
A show we thought audience wouldn’t participate in.
A show we held our first fundraiser for.
A show we thought would be cancelled after opening night.
A show that’s caused more injury, disagreement and reflection than any other.
A show that continues to live and surprise.

Thanks to and for championing the show. Thanks to those stars who watched our earliest drafts Jason Maling and . Thanks to the many venues and festivals who supported the life of this work. Thanks to the many staff who cared for us, played with us and turned a blind eye when it mattered most. Thanks to our hosts .web and for bringing your skill to the show, and to our host extraordinaire who has truly been a rock through the highs and lows of this show.

We are heading back to North America!

So excited to announce our longest, sweatiest and most unhinged tour yet - with 40 shows across 7 cities in just 8 weeks.

This tour has come together with an immense amount of work from from . Thank you to the many audience members, programmers, and magnesium tablets that have got us to this point.

Stoked to announce that Burnout Paradise is traveling to Vancouver this November going to be part of The Cultch’s 25/26 Season!

The Cultch has just announced their season, which includes a bunch of rad Australian work, including shows by and the not Aussie but still great .

Tell your Canadian mates who like experimental performance. Or treadmills.

Thanks for having us San Diego!

Burnout Paradise closed at WOW Festival last week. Grateful for sold out shows, adventurous audiences, and cheap tacos.

Here is a rare photo of us enacting a work/life balance by hiking on the morning of our final show. This week we’re straight off the plane and back into the rehearsal room.

Pony Cam is going to San Diego!

In three weeks Burnout Paradise will have its west coast premiere as part of La Jolla Playhouse’s WOW Festival 2025, taking place April 24 - 27 at UC San Diego in La Jolla.

Warming up the legs for this incredible festival, and cannot wait to seeing some other excellent work.

We have been in WA furiously making this show over 10 big days. We have played, fought, danced and eaten a lot of ice cream. Tonight we open our doors to the audience.

A new version of Anything You Can Do will be presented from the 21st-23rd of March 2025.

Incredibly excited to share this work in Western Australia and begin to build connections with new communities aged 55+ from around Australia.

Grateful for the trust Joondalup festival has given us in inviting this process into their community. Check out their 🔥🔥🔥🔥 program. Where will also be doing some amazing things.
