Canada’s Conservatives are facing growing internal tensions as the country navigates a difficult trade standoff with the United States. The dispute is putting pressure on Canadian businesses, workers and policymakers, while also creating debate within the Conservative movement over how the party should respond.

As trade uncertainty continues, disagreements over strategy, leadership and Canada’s approach to Washington could become increasingly significant. The internal divisions come at a challenging moment for the party, raising questions about whether Conservatives can present a united front on one of the most important economic and political issues facing Canada.

With Canada–U.S. trade relations under intense scrutiny, the political consequences of the trade war could extend well beyond tariffs and negotiations.

What do you think—can Canada’s Conservatives overcome their internal divisions and offer a clear strategy on the trade dispute?

🇨🇦 Canada’s Army Is Preparing for the Future of Combat

The Canadian Army is adapting to a rapidly changing battlefield where advanced technology, drones, electronic warfare, surveillance systems and modern combat capabilities are becoming increasingly important.

Military forces are facing a new era of warfare in which speed, information, precision and technological innovation can be just as critical as traditional battlefield strength. Canada is looking at how its soldiers and equipment must evolve to remain prepared for emerging threats.

The focus is not only on acquiring new technology, but also on training personnel to operate in increasingly complex environments. From unmanned systems and battlefield communications to improved mobility and intelligence capabilities, the Canadian military is working toward a force designed for the challenges of tomorrow.

As global security conditions continue to change, Canada faces growing pressure to ensure its armed forces are properly equipped, trained and ready to respond alongside its allies.

What do you think — is Canada doing enough to prepare its military for the future of warfare? 🇨🇦

🇨🇦 Canada Strikes Back in the Trade War

Canada is imposing $27 billion in tariffs on U.S. goods, targeting products including steel, dairy and more, in response to Washington’s 50% duties on Canadian imports.

The move marks another major escalation in Canada–U.S. trade tensions, as Ottawa looks to protect Canadian workers, businesses and the broader economy.

Will these tariffs strengthen Canada’s position—or deepen the trade conflict?

Could Pierre Poilievre help break the Canada–U.S. trade deadlock? 🇨🇦🇺🇸

As tensions over tariffs and trade restrictions continue to grow, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is heading to New York to make the case for stronger Canada–U.S. economic cooperation and freer trade.

During his visit, Poilievre is expected to:
• Speak with major American business networks
• Meet business leaders and investors
• Make the case directly to Americans for open, mutually beneficial trade
• Take part in events commemorating the 25th anniversary of September 11

Poilievre says Canada can build on the support of American workers, businesses and consumers to show that trade barriers can ultimately hurt both sides of the border.

But the big question remains: Can an opposition leader help ease the growing trade tensions between Canada and Washington?

What do you think?
