FULL REVIEW ON YT - When you find one of the the girls in the city that slides like the guys, it hits different, and ny2balistic is the difference. When I heard the snippet to this song I was in shock, because clearly for ends and the trenches the city got another one. NY brings the flare from the trench Toronto rap scene we have while mixing clever bars, a woman’s perspective, and a flow that’s infectious to be honest. With only one Spotify release, 2 videos, and a few snippets she’s one I’m watching for more. More visuals, more quotables, more music, and her putting her self out there consistently will prove to be her tipping point in the coming months and if she stays locked in, I can definitely see a wave forming. Stamping it, this one’s another one to watch.

Torontos RnB scene needs this, as it’s just another push in the right direction with all the talent here. Although there been gaps in the releases, Anders never loses a step, and remains a guy within the scene and the genre. The ability to put together full top quality industry standard songs on top of stellar visuals shows me he’s back and locked in. This might just be the run for him and I’m here for it, and this will be in heavy rotation, salute Anders. on the visuals was crucial too, the art direction and shots were elite and the more artists from the city that tap in with him will produce more of the movies we need for our artists. It’s GAS.

Honestly was happily surprised by this collab from Kidd Kayyj & Seddy Hendrix . While “crate digging” I found this little snippet and had to hear the full track. These vocals are top notch and with how smooth the vibe was this is an easy add to the playlists and this will get spins in lounge and early DJ set’s from me for sure. This isn’t just about one singular genre or about how big this can get, with Bad Habiits we want discussion. Discussion about music in whatever genre or way we can connect to the listener. We imagine a room where there are multiple audiophiles and general enthusiasts that could come together and enjoy anything from Hip-Hop to Techno or anything in between, that’s why it’s hard to box ourselves into one genre. We’re just trying to showcase the things we like and we hope it connects with the people that find it. To one day have them all in a room together and have our discussion through the music, dance, subsequent art that was made while listening; anything that roots it back to the music. Every day things will change, times will come and go, and things will never be the same - so we keep that understanding when it comes to the music we’re making. It’ll never be the same, but it will reflect the time and moods we’re in, the influences we have, and just random BS we’re fking with at the time lol. Enjoy.

One thing people in this game of life need to realize, you’re not owed anything unless it was agreed upon. The same goes for those showing love to you. Constantly we hear people call others out for “hate” when they don’t show love on the things you love to do. I get it, we’re all trying to make it, but how does focusing on those who aren’t embracing you put you further. Go where you’re loved, reciprocate where it’s given, and focus on those in your path that welcome with open arms. Being embraced is not owed to you, but you owe it to yourself to not dwell on those things. V-ENT.
