Please help me help street kitties in need by sponsoring the Annex Cat Rescue Toronto Waterfront Marathon 5K team. I will be running my own 5K in support of this amazing charity.

Annex Cat Rescue is dedicated to reducing the suffering of Toronto's street cats, eliminating cat homelessness, and creating the safe & loving indoor second chances that formerly homeless street cats deserve.

Annex Cat Rescue receives no city or government funding and relies exclusively on donations. Adoption fees cover only a small fraction of the medical expenses for the cats in its care, so ACR depends on fundraisers like this to continue helping as many street cats as possible.

All donations made to the race team before Oct. 31 will be matched by a generous donor, thus doubling the effect of your donation. Here is the link to the Marathon team donation page:

Due to the weather forecast of thunderstorms today we made the decision this morning to postpone our Ice Cream Social until tomorrow.
So sorry if this inconveniences anyone. We hope you can come out tomorrow between 12 and 3 to get a free ice cream or slushie!

We are hosting our Second Annual Ice Cream Social and we would love to see you there.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 11th, 12:00-3:00 PM and join us for a fun family afternoon of prize draws, face painting, a colouring contest and FREE ice cream and slushies!
It's the perfect way to kick-start the summer season.
We will be hosting the event in the same location as last year at Brian Drive and Old Sheppard Avenue in the Pleasant View community.
If it happens to be a rainy day, we will alternatively hold the event on Sunday, June 12th.
We will also be accepting non-perishable food donations to bring to the Community Share Food Bank.
