What a weekend. 💖

A huge thank you to everyone who came by, grabbed a slushie, danced with us, shopped the pop-ups, and brought the incredible energy all weekend long.

To our DJs, vendors, staff, collaborators, and everyone who worked behind the scenes — thank you for helping make this year’s festival so special. 🎶✨

And of course, thank you to for bringing our community together year after year, and to for keeping the drinks flowing. 🍻

⭐️ CALL FOR ARTISTS ⭐️

Underscore Projects and Do West Fest are seeking local artists to create a temporary art installation for this year’s Do West Fest - a vibrant, community-driven celebration in Toronto, Canada, now in its 13th year. We’re also excited to be apart of the jury board and can’t wait to see your submissions!

We invite proposals from individual artists and collectives working across all mediums. The selected work will activate the Community Stage, a hub dedicated to showcasing local musical talent. We’re looking for work that transforms the stage into a dynamic visual experience.

Proposals will be evaluated based on creativity, feasibility, and alignment with the festival’s community focus. Interactive and audience-engaging works are encouraged, with careful consideration for the stage’s continuous programming schedule and quick transitions between performances.

The installation should reflect the diversity, energy, and spirit of the festival and its surrounding community, while complementing a live performance setting.

Budget: $5,000 CAD (inclusive of artist fee, materials, and installation costs)

A glimpse into Life Is A Circus by .rt

Life is a Circus is a series of paintings that brings together symbolism, identity, and movement through an unconventional canvas: twelve skateboard decks. Each deck features a Chinese zodiac animal paired with a corresponding birth month flower, forming a cycle that reflects both individuality and interconnectedness.

Full event decor transformation for an 8th roller-skating birthday party 🛼✨

We designed a vibrant, playful setup filled with colourful details to bring the theme to life. From a bedazzle station, to glow stick bracelets, a candy bar, tailored menus, balloon arch, and sparkly decor throughout the space.

The space was styled to feel cohesive and effortless, making it easy for parents while giving the kids a fun, immersive party experience 💖
