Big YAY for our first fight workshop the past two days with our MAJOR BOSS instructor .

Small but mighty group! We hope to host another workshop for those of you who were looking for an alternate date.

Only a few more days before the workshop, which means its your last chace to sign up!

This workshop is for the girls, the g**s, the q***r and gender-non conforming folks that do not often get the chance to do choreographed combat on stage. It is for people who, at present, don’t feel particularly comfortable going into traditional fight choreography spaces.

We’re q***r, and we’ll be at Yikes Co’s Fight Club.

This is for anyone who has even thought about fight chorography and has not had the chance to participate. Our instructor Christina will be creating a q***r centerd space to learn beginer stage combat.

Even if you’re interested in looking at theatre with a new lense, this is the space for you.

We are creating this space for people who have not felt comfortable enough to do training in traditional fight chorography spaces.

Our Fight Club instructor is
Christina is MAJOR.

And we are so glad to have them as our instuctor for the workshop. Christina is a non-binary, q***r actor and artist based in Tkaronto. You may have seen their work as a fight director and intimacy coordinator on stages across Ontario- Nightwood Theatre, Yes! Theatre, The Stratford Festival, and Talk is Free Theatre to name a few.

All of what we’ve been able to do this year has been out of our own pockets, and from the generosity of other organizations via in-kind donations.

We’re raising money for our next event, and tbh the rest of the year. A monetary donation goes a long way, but so will more partnerships. Please support however you are able! Our DMs are open 🫶
