Poor guy just wants to go for a swim 🧸
But considering he is 7 ft tall and weighs 45 lbs when he’s dry, I probably wouldn’t be able to get him out of the pool when he’s water logged 😂

How cool are these??! 🦋
I had the opportunity to test out Lepidoptera Species bundle last week and I had so much fun making them and finding the perfect frames to display them!
I really love the concept of turning a plush like this into framed art to brighten up a room! I can’t wait to display these in my booth at this year, the only question is, should I make a bunch?!

Have you seen the crochet puppets yet?!
I honestly didn’t realize I had enough designs to do a reel like this but I have thoroughly enjoyed continuing to expand on my Stitchkins collection!

It’s that time again!
We are officially 99 days away from this years One Of A Kind which means it’s time to lock in and get to work!
Well actually that was 2 weeks ago but that’s besides the point! I will be sharing every step of the process including building a brand new booth for this years show!

Free Barnaby the Jumbo Bear Pattern 🧸
What’s better than a 7ft tall plushie? What about a FREE pattern to make one yourself??!
I had so much fun creating this project and making him larger than life, and me 🤪 My inspiration was the giant carnival prizes that you can barely carry home and I think I succeeded!
Barnaby measures in over 7ft tall and weighs 45 lbs. I used Bernat Blanket BIG in Frosting and regular which resulted in a super soft cuddly pal and can be found at Michael’s in many different colours. It took a total of 29 skeins with a 24mm hook, quite a bit of stuffing and a body pillow as spine support!

Doubles as a fashion accessory too 😉
I ran out of a specific red yarn the other day and didn’t have the skein wrapper so I brought a scrap piece to help find the perfect match.
I know people are going to say I should have a dye lot number but without the skein wrapper I had no clue what it was 😅

Faux fur just ups that cuteness factor x10 no@matter what you’re making!
I picked up Oak and Marlow | Jocelyn Lofty Prim Bunny pattern recently and I’ve had them on repeat, they work up great in all yarn types but the faux fur just makes them super soft and cuddly!!

No plushies were harmed in the making of this reel 😝
I have this thought everytime I pack up at the end of an event. Most vendors have to carefully package or wrap their products to keep them safe, but we don’t 😅🤪
And of course I treat them with respect bc they are my art and my livelihood but they’re soft and durable and are easily packed away in their bins for the next event.
