It's been six years since Phoebe Bridgers last released a solo record. In that time, her world has shifted and on her much anticipated third album, 'Lost Weekend', we find her grappling with the death of a parent – all while falling deeply in love.

It's an unflinchingly raw and personal album from someone who has taken a step back from the public eye. But as ever, Phoebe's songwriting speaks entirely for itself.

brought the energy for her first ever performance in Long Beach this afternoon.

Throughout a 30-minute set that spanned fighting-talk anthems such as 'I Already Dug Your Grave' and the Doechii-featuring 'Beat A Bitch Up' she proved that the future of the festival isn't in just rehashing the same old acts.

Finishing with a reimagined heavier version of 'Gonna Bleach My Eyebrows', 's superpower is in her ability to mix things up. We can't wait to hear what her debut album sounds like.
