Finally got to do a little painting this summer, so I start a new series called RIVER RIDES. And since im starting i thought i would ask you what you would like to see apart of this series. Would you like

My background is in the floral industry so this painting speaks to me of the hard work the floral farmers of Ontario especially are putting in so we can have the luxury of enjoying these beautiful blooms in our homes or our events.

If you know me, you know I love nostalgia. So when my friends cottage was coming down few years to prepare for an absolutely beautiful cottage, I just wanted to capture the simple life. I wondered how many coffees were sipped in front of this window. I wonder how many families made summer memories there that glue them together now.
Now I know everything needs to change and the new cottage will create amazing memories for this generation, but I just wanted to capture this moment of a simpler life.

Sometimes a painting stays in the studio for awhile and you just dont know why. Well the "Morning Lighthouse" is now in the hands of this beautiful lady. She was a lighthouse in our community, giving of herself where needed and sharing her faith.
Now -murray has moved away but our little lighthouse is with her to remember us. I couldn't think of anyone else more perfect to have the original of this piece.
