ANNOUNCING OUR FIRST INTERNATIONAL COLLAB! 🌏📢

འབྲུ་ Digital Storytelling + Archiving 🌱

Dru, a Tibetan word that means “seed”, has been created with the hopes that this program will help germinate future generations of Tibetans who are able to tell their stories while helping to preserve stories from our past.

This is a 2.5 month program created in collaboration with Tibet Museum (Dharamshala, India), the foremost repository of Tibetans and Tibetan stories in exile. This is our first transnational collaboration in which we can connect with the wider diaspora in exile. We looking for keen storytellers who are interested in archival work and different mediums of digital storytelling.

Arts Workshop Series: Parkdale Pottery

✨The first workshop of our series is a very special pottery experience!

For the first time, we are collaborating with Parkdale Pottery for an introductory Wheel-Throwing Workshop—a wonderful opportunity to explore creativity, connect with peers and learn a timeless craft, where you’ll learn the basics of shaping clay on the potter’s wheel and create your very own:
☕ Cups
🥣 Bowls
💍 Trinket Dishes

📍 Meet outside the studio at 1:45 PM — we’ll head in together!
🕑 Workshop runs from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM
👥Seats available for only 8 participants (First come, first serve basis)

We are delighted to be guided by Diana Scheer (she/they), a ceramicist and visual artist based in Toronto. Diana’s work combines functional and sculptural vessels inspired by the enchantment of nature and enduring ancestral knowledge. Throughout the workshop, Diana will provide a demonstration, hands-on guidance, and support as you bring your creations to life.

✨ No experience necessary
✨ All materials provided
✨ Individual guidance throughout the session
✨ A fun and welcoming environment for everyone

🔥 Your creations will be professionally glazed and fired, then ready for pickup 4 weeks after the workshop.
