Sittu entertainment is looking for talented comedians to spice up a feature comedy project. The project will go to the camera by Oct 2022
Position type: Freelance
Rate: disclose in-person
Date: Starting early July for a week
Location: office space in Toronto
What you will do:
• Attend writer’s room sessions in person
• Work with comments from producers and collaborate with head writers
• Pitch funny and novel ideas to bring the script and jokes to the next level
What you’ll need:
• Comedy writing experience (pilot/sketch/shorts/ stand-up comedy materials)
• Open to different opinions and perspectives
• Strong team player who can work under pressure
• Good communication skills to communicate your ideas
• Able to detect problems and provide solutions
• Humor, creative, and think outside of box
• Motivated and willing to work above and beyond
• Able to travel to Toronto
• Previous writer’s room experience is a plus
