Introducing Queenie, the owner of Sun Hing Lung Tofu shop in NYC!

Queenie is one of the store owners featured in the mini documentary "Artisanal Chinatown: Tofu" where we get a behind the scenes look at the  artisanal process of making tofu, and learn about  the family legacies behind the tofu shops in the neighborhood.

Tomorrow is Red Dress Day, and we in Chinatown remember and honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Sprited People (MMIWG2S).

The REDress project created by Metis Artist Jaime Black in 2010 inspired the hanging of Red Dresses to honor stolen sisters from these communities.

Posters are up in and around Spadina Chinatown, in English and Chinese. Please visit, learn more about this human rights crisis happening in our country, and speak about it to your friends, families and loved ones.
