Fresh on my easel 🖌

This is a copy of Claude Lorrain's (1648-50) landspace oil painting. He's supposed to be the master of landscapes and after trying to copy his work I can see why. There is so much fine detail in his painting. Every single bush, tree branch, spark of sunlight, all of it has so much detail. I struggled to capture all that I'm my painting. I like to focus on the bigger picture than all the fine details. But regardless this was a fun project that I learned a ton from!!
