🐜 As children, we’re fascinated by insects.
We crouch in the grass, we explore.
Then we grow up and stop looking.

Capturing Nature’s Heart around the Globe:
3 Years, 5 Cities, 3 Continents🌿

Our epic adventure started in October 2021 at the (MNHN) in Paris, one of the world’s most renowned natural history institutions, with a legacy dating back to 1793.

Launching the original production directly at MNHN, with no time to rehearse, was a giant step to make during the COVID period — from concept to a full-scale, 1-hour immersive journey where nature is not just explored, but felt.

Now, exactly three years later, Sensory Odyssey has successfully hosted nearly 700,000 visitors across 5 iconic cities in 3 continents.

We now wish to pay a very special tribute to all five incredible venues that shared our vision and helped us turn this audaciously utopian project into a glorious reality:

📍 Paris –
📍 Singapore –
📍 Rio de Janeiro –
📍 Beijing – KEYI Art Museum
📍 Toronto –

Each venue was an equally important chapter in this epic saga, adding depth and a new way to experience nature in all its glory. This modern-day odyssey is still in its infancy.

Where will this journey take us next? Any guess? 😉

Since its launch in late 2021, Sensory Odyssey has captivated over 600,000 visitors worldwide. Now, we’re thrilled to have been selected as the first immersive exhibition ever programmed by the iconic (Royal Ontario Museum), Canada’s most-visited museum! 🇨🇦

We’ve crafted a special edition of Sensory Odyssey, cost-efficiently distilling our original format of 1000+ square meter contents to fit a 400-square-meter space. Although smaller, the experience remains as breathtaking and impactful as ever, proving that a compelling, immersive production is above all about the depth of sensations people feel, not the size of it.

Since opening at ROM on June 1st, the exhibition has hosted above 70000 visitors - on the basis of 800 visitors per day in 400m2.

Sensory Odyssey consistently marks a shift in how institutions like ROM engage their audiences. The strong turnout highlights the growing demand for sensory-driven experiences, opening new pathways for cultural and educational engagement in traditional museums and as per our trail-blazing success across Asia, Europe, South and North America in less than 3 years.

🦗 Delve into the Dark Earth Passage, a newly crafted transition for the ASM exhibition. After exploring the canopy's depths, visitors venture into the underworld beneath their feet. Guided through a transitional passage, they descend deeper, passing meticulously designed rope-crafted roots.

These roots, intricately made from h**p cord, seamlessly blend with the environment and react to blacklight, simulating impulses flowing through them. Symbolizing the interconnectedness of the natural world, the interwoven strands of h**p cord highlight the vital role of roots in nurturing and sustaining life.

In "Sensory Odyssey - Into the Heart of Our Living World" at the ASM, visitors become part of a captivating narrative, connecting them to the hidden wonders beneath the surface.

Water passage at the ASM// Let yourself be lured by the gentle murmur of trickling sound and float to the surface of our final space.

In a passage filled with softness, our visitors are enveloped by white curtains, creating a white, vaporous universe. Like explorers traversing the frozen lands of the Arctic, or approaching majestic s***m whales, they pass through an atmosphere that creates a transition to a colder place.

Our visitors are accompanied to the last room by a captivating play of light that varies this transition from blue to white and vice versa, depending on the time of day, adding a magical dimension to their experience.

In "Sensory Odyssey - Into the Heart of Our Living World" at the , visitors plunge into an aquatic world full of discoveries.

Aveyron meadow at the ASM// Our visitors change scale and wander through the lush meadow grass

Bathed in springtime rays, visitors to Sensory Odyssey are privileged witnesses to the splendor of the giants of the insectosphere. For a unique immersive experience, they take their place on the grey seats, which take on the shape and appearance of scattered pebbles. Comfortably seated, our visitor-explorers are transported to another point of view, where images take on a new dimension.

Like the insects of the infinitely small, visitors wander among the grasses and flower stems made from large burlap tubes, 6 metres high!

In "Sensory Odyssey - Into the Heart of Our Living World" at the , visitors are taken on a microscopic journey to meet the insects of the grasslands.

Feel in touch // The thick fur of the sloth provides a habitat for the development of fungi and insects, such as beetles.

In addition to offering a very good tool for camouflage, it allows moths to breed and hide from preying birds.
By hosting an ecosystem, the sloth's coat creates a wonderful symbiotic relationship with its hosts. Butterflies can safely lay their eggs, and in return their larvae promoting the growth of algae by modifying nitrogen levels.
In turn, this algae will provide the sloths with essential nutrients that are not found in the leaves they feed on.

Feel in touch// To complement the daytime work of bees and bumblebees, moths take over flitting from flower to flower after dark.

At night, generally unnoticed, they often pollinate the same flowers, but carry more pollen and over longer distances : pollen sticks well to the hairy body of the average moth, making it a more efficient pollinator than the often smooth-bodied day butterfly.

Feel in touch // At first white or gray at birth, the flamingo's feathers take on their distinctive hue as it grows up.

Due to its restrictive diet of insects, fish, aquatic plants and crustaceans, rich in carotenoïd pigments, the bird's plumage turns pink. If the flamingo were to change its diet by eating everything it came across, like its fellow seabirds, its vibrant plumage would quickly start to fade.
