Goodfairyart

Goodfairyart Whimsical watercolor art for your home! My name is Maryna Salagub. I was born in Ukraine. I discovered my love of painting when I was a young child.
(1)

I attended an art studio in Ukraine for eight years, it was my second home. I had a great teacher Boyko Nikolay Yakovlevich. He taught me how to paint, but more important - how to enjoy and see beauty in our every day lives. In 2010 I immigrated to Canada and began painting again. I am happily married and have two children. My illustrations are whimsical, full of bright vivid colors and movement. I enjoy adding small details to my art. These details encourage viewers to look at the pictures more and more making new discoveries each time. I strongly believe this: "Don't search for miracles, create a miracle yourself"

When Kimberly reach out to me for extra large scale of my print (24x36 in) for her kitchen I had to learn a new software to create the file this big that will still have all the qualities of original painting.

This is what Kimberly says:
"Just received the print framed - here it is hung and I LOVE IT !!!!!"

What a beautiful addition to your cozy kitchen! Glad that your vision came to life!

Need a special size of print that you don't see on my website? Send me PM and I will do my best to make it happen!

We are thrilled that Goodfairyart still holds CUSMA certificate, which means our whimsical art prints can keep crossing the USA border tariff-free!
Even after Section 338 was implemented this August it did not affect our products.
This helps us bring our joyful creations to even more families across North America - without extra costs at the border. Thank you for supporting our small business as we keep spreading art, color and smiles beyond borders!

I am exited to share that I am going to residency at Bohdan Medwidsky Ukrainian Folklore Archives and Kule Folklore Centre September 6-20 in Edmonton, Alberta.
I will be researching Ukrainian nature symbols and their reflection of present day environmental concerns.

Here are some of the new art supplies that I am taking with me to experiment with (besides my regular watercolors and acrylics):

Tombow Markers
Moleskine Watercolor Sketchbook
Holbein gouache
1 inch stencil
Coloring pencils
Tombow Fudenosuke brush pens
Princeton watercolor brushes
Talens Art Creation sketchbook

I can't wait to share with you how the residency unfolds and what I will find at the archives! Stay tuned!
