A sauna experience you don’t just feel—you hear.

Premiering this weekend, ‘Saunica’ is a new sound installation by Vancouver-based artist George Rahi (.rahi.studios) made specifically for a sauna. The work fills the space with living tones from wooden organ pipes that shift with the heat, turning temperature into sound and the body into a listening instrument. Be the first to experience this new work, in a space where breath, body, and environment resonate together.

Join the Public Sweat mobile sauna pop-up at the Geary Art Crawl on March 7 & 8, 2026 for our latest exploration of sauna culture and contemporary art—celebrating social connection, wellbeing, and shared experience.

📍 Location: 282 Geary Ave (just west of Dufferin)
🕒 Hours:
Saturday, March 7: 2-3 PM (Sauna with the Artist Workshop)
Saturday, March 7: 3:30–9 PM
Sunday, March 8: 2–8 PM

🎟 Admission: PWYC ($10-20) for a 1.5hr session. Link in bio to register in advance, but we’ll keep spaces open for walk-ins too!

🎒 Bring: Bathing suit & towel required; sandals, robe, and water bottle recommended. Come dressed for weather, there is no indoor space access except the saunas themselves.

This weekend - come and sweat with us at the Geary Art Crawl!

We’re thrilled to be popping up this weekend with not only our trusted Mobile Sauna, but a *brand new sauna* with two unique integrated artworks. Be the first to try it out.

Experience a new sound installation by George Rahi (.rahi.studios), where wooden organ pipes transform our new sauna into a resonant listening space, and beautiful stained glass windows made by Kristie Urbanski () cast hot and cold light into the sweat bathing experience.

💧Sat. March 7th (3:30-10:30PM, last entry at 9PM) 💧Sun. March 8th (2-9:30PM, last entry at 8PM)

🔥 2 wood-fired saunas & a sound installation

We’re adding some more heat to this gorgeous day!

🔥 The sauna is hot and ready - and while counterintuitive - using it on a hot day makes the outdoors feel cooler afterwards.

💧We’re down by the water at Trillium Park today and tomorrow from 4-10pm for , truly one of our favourite summer events.

Fresh batch of hats!

We’ve restocked our beloved sauna hats made by Eldon Station Studios and are selling them this weekend at our mobile pop-up.

This weekend’s sauna sessions are sold out, but you can still visit us to grab a hat or other merch today and tomorrow between 12-10pm.

Snow day! ❄️

Toronto is shut down with the biggest snowfall of the season, what a perfect day to retreat to the warmth of a sauna, contrasted by a roll in the snow!

The home sauna pictured was designed and built by two of our founders, and , no doubt they’ll be firing it up in this weather 🔥

Introducing our latest .sweat commission, ‘Blanket’ by Janine Miedzik

We challenged Janine with the task of making a ‘sauna cozy’ - something that covers our mobile sauna, transforms its boxy profile, and speaks to the organic forms of textiles.

We’re thrilled to premiere this work in Minneapolis through a collaboration with with support from the .council

We’ll be part of the Great Northern Sauna Village here until Sunday, if you’re in the twin cities come and say hello or share a sauna together!

Next stop for the Mobile Sauna you ask? We’re bringing it to Wet Sounds, an immersive underwater sound experience presented by and this Saturday!

The sauna will be set up for the 7pm session only, on a first-come-first-served basis for warm ups between rounds of floating and listening.

Theres nothing like the warm welcoming glow of a sauna at night 🌙🔥✨

Thanks to everyone who joined us for a sauna session at Summer Thing this past weekend, the sauna was full as soon as we opened until we shut down the stove at night and we couldn’t be happier!

The perfect accompaniment to a free summertime music event is of course – a good sauna! We’ll be bringing our wood-fired mobile sauna to THIS WEEKEND, July 13-14, from 3:30-10pm. Find us by the campfire in Trillium Park, and bring your swimsuit and towel to join in the fun. The sauna is free and open to all on a first-come-first-served basis.

Next month, visit us again on August 10th during Summer Thing. Both events have amazing lineups with live music, DJ sets, campfires, tasty food vendors and artistic interventions. They are presented as a part of Trillium Park’s SummerSeries at , free and all ages events by the lake that feature music, arts and cultural programming.
