CHRISTY (2026, Biography/Drama, US, 135', 14A)

Christy Martin was born in 1968 in West Virginia. As a boxer, she was nicknamed "The Coal Miner's Daughter" in reference to her father's occupation.

She survived abuse and drug addiction, as well as a murder attempt on her life by her manager/husband. She had 59 fights in her career, with 49 wins and only 7 losses; 32 of those wins were by a knockout.

She competed for 23 years and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2020, the first year that women were on the ballot.

Sydney Sweeney stars in this inspiring and emotional story of a true legend -- that few people out of the business of boxing have ever heard of. Come and see for yourself!
