Clayoquot Sound Theatre is a classic black box theatre with a stage, 72 seats on risers, stage lights controlled from a tech booth, and a dressing room. We have a large drop-down screen for video, a projector, and blu-ray player. We have excellent acoustics for musical acts, and a grand piano in-house.

We are looking for 4 new board members :
- Facility Coordinator
- 2x Tofino Jazz Festival Assistants
- Tofino Pop Assistant

These are volunteered positions

Facility Coordinator :
-Know the technicality of the Theatre : risers, curtains, projector..
-Help with coordinating repairs and shipping
-Help with coordinating maintenance and renovations

Tofino Pop Assistant :
-Help with grant writing
-Help with securing sponsorships : financial and hotel rooms
-Help with volunteer coordination
-Help with merch coordination

2x Tofino Jazz Festival Assistants :
-Help with grant writing
-Help with securing sponsorships : financial and hotel rooms
-Help with volunteer coordination
-Help with merch coordination

We are very proud to present the documentary “Let Me Chase This Dream” featuring Tofino’s own cold-water surf photographer, on Thursday June 4th at 6:30pm! Very limited tickets available at www.tofinotheatre.com

After a traumatic brain injury (TBI) while shooting in Mexico in 2022, she decided to heal by walking the 5,000-kilometer Continental Divide Trail from the U.S.-Mexico border to Canada. The film highlights her resilience, vulnerability, and the long road to recovery. Directed by Cristóbal Ruiz of Pachamama, the documentary captures both the physical toll of a 170-day thru-hike and the emotional return to the ocean.

MIINA : this Saturday in Tofino! MIINA’s sound is more than music; it’s a movement toward connection, care for the planet and a more open-hearted world. Having begun her musical career as the front person of Victoria’s Carmanah, Dream-pop artist MIINA continues her solo journey with the release of her debut full-length album, Where The Light Goes, that came out March 20, 2026.

Tofino : only a few Tickets left for Snotty Nose Rez Kids this Thursday April 23rd at the Clayoquot Sound Theatre!

Snotty Nose Rez Kids are comprised of the dynamic duo, Yung Trybez and Young D. Both originally from Kitimat and both from the Haisla Nation, they relocated to Vancouver and began their careers as rappers. After releasing five albums independently and touring all over the world, in 2023, they signed with Sony Music Canada and released their debut major label album, RED FUTURE, the following year. The album just won Rap Album of the Year at the Juno Awards.

Volunteers needed at Monday Night Movies

We are looking for a few volunteers to help once in a while with Monday Night Movies. You get free movie for you and someone else in exchange of 30 minutes of your time to help with moving our chairs and risers after the movies.

Bring a date to the movie and impress them at how strong and community oriented you are after by helping pushing our amazing retractable risers!
