American singer-songwriter Chris Staples is a master of his craft. Across seven studio albums, most of which are self-produced, he consistently delivers a healthy dose of profundity on a spoonful of melodic sugar, making even the most difficult of revelations go down with ease. Raised in the small coastal town of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Staples began writing songs as a young teenager, surrounded by the ever-present piano playing of his mother, a professional organist. Now settled in Nashville, he has lived in many corners of the United States, collecting experiences and varied landscapes that saturate his writing.

Jon Middleton is a musician based out of Victoria, BC, Canada. He is also a primary member of groups, ‘Jon and Roy’ and ‘Ocie Elliott’.

Born in Ethiopia and based in Whistler, BC, ZADA is a genre-defying artist whose music lives in the space between contrasts beauty and grit, intimacy and scale, soul and experimentation. After a traumatic brain injury (TBI) while shooting in Mexico in 2022, she decided to heal by walking the 5,000-kilometer Continental Divide Trail from the U.S.-Mexico border to Canada. The film highlights her resilience, vulnerability, and the long road to recovery. Directed by Cristóbal Ruiz of Pachamama, the documentary captures both the physical toll of a 170-day thru-hike and the emotional return to the ocean.
