Oyster counts throughout the years… the numbers may shock you! 🤯

Every year our appetite grows and grows for these sustainably farmed delicious pearls of the sea. BIG thank you to our Tofino Oyster Fest providers for keeping us full all weekend long.

Another BIG thankyou to all of the shuckers working the tables and shucking all Saturday long to provide EACH restaurants with their 300 oysters for the tasting competition.

That was a Shucker’s Showdown for the books Tofino! 🏆 🦪 💨

With an incredible turnout of shuckers from coast to coast and even international talent coming out to win the big prize money, we can’t help but love the last day of oyster fest more and more every year.

The shucking community is equal parts rowdy party people and supportive lovely humans! We can’t wait for next year.

Big congratulations to our finalists and to our winner in the pro division Chris Manocchio who is taking it home for the 4th year in a row!

The winner of Best Judged Oyster is .vic with their CHICKEN FRIED OYSTER, honey, butter, dill, and caviar 🤤

The winner of People’s Choice is with their Oyster and smoked tuna - warm beach oyster, smoked albacore tuna, brown butter vinaigrette, ginger apples, crispy bits. 🥂

They paired their warm creation with a refreshing Unsworth Charme De’lile and spiced apple iceberg

How was the first night of Tofino Oyster Fest, you ask? Exceeded expectations all around! 🫧🕺🎣 🦐 🪩

The costumes were out of this world and we boogied till the googly eyes fell off to ‘s funky serenades 💃🏽🦪

The oysters and bubbles were flowing as the bangers were dropped by .rabbit into the wee hours of the night.

Time to do it all again with tonight’s Oyster Fest Gala this year with a live auction benefiting and Food Bank on the Edge!
