At the Timmins Ram Rodeo, our mission is bigger than hosting a rodeo—we’re building a legacy.

We are committed to growing the sport of rodeo across Northern Ontario by inspiring the next generation of cowboys and cowgirls. Through rodeo, young people learn the values that last a lifetime: hard work, responsibility, respect, leadership, horsemanship, perseverance, and the importance of earning success.

Every ride, every run, and every moment in the arena is an opportunity to build character, confidence, and lifelong friendships. Rodeo teaches our youth that true success comes from dedication, teamwork with their animals, and never giving up when life gets tough.

We’re not just promoting a sport—we’re preserving a way of life, strengthening our communities, and creating opportunities for families to come together and celebrate Western heritage.

Today’s competitors are tomorrow’s leaders. That’s why we’ll continue to invest in our youth, grow the sport, and ensure the spirit of rodeo thrives for generations to come.

Are you looking for something to do the weekend of the July 25th. This event is being held in Cochrane at the Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat. Free entry to all. Great vendors, visit the bears with some great action packed western racing. Come one, come all !!!

Join us for our annual Western Gaming Show and Heritage Days event on July 25th and 26th! Entry is FREE, doors open from 9am - 5pm. With lots of local vendors and demonstrations, this weekend will be full of fun thanks to our primary sponsor Agnico Eagle Ontario! We look forward to seeing you there!

If you’ve ever dreamed of getting on a bull or riding broncs at next year’s Timmins Ram Rodeo, I highly recommend checking it out. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to improve your skills, it’s a great place to learn.

With more than 30 years of rodeo experience, Alex brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication to every rider he mentors.
