1. What’s your role at MKDA for Season 22? Teacher assistant for Level 2 and Level 3 hip hop.

2.How long have you been part of the MKDA family? This is my 8th year!

3.What’s your favourite thing about being part of MKDA? Getting to help younger dancers, going to competitions, meeting new people, learning new choreography from our awesome teachers, and dancing with my friends.

4.What’s something about you our MKDA families might not know?
When I am not dancing, I love playing sports, working on my tumbling and staying active.

She explained it, sent me the dates, and now they’re in my calendar.

TERM 1
🩰September 14 — Classes begin
🩰October 10–12 — Closed for Thanksgiving; back October 13
🩰October 21–22 — No classes while MKDA staff volunteer at Dancing with the Docs
🩰November 14 — Santa
🩰Claus Parade
🩰December 5 — Term 1 ends

TERM 2
🪩January 11 — Classes begin
🪩February 13–15 — Closed for Family Weekend; back February 16
🪩March 13–19 — Closed for March Break; back March 20
🪩March 26–29 — Closed for Easter
🪩March 31–April 12 — Stage rehearsals (detailed schedule coming in February)
🪩April 2–4 — Dance pictures at MKDA Studio A

MEET THE PEOPLE BEHIND SEASON 22!
✨⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️✨
This season, we’re introducing you to ALL the incredible people who help keep MKDA running the way it does! From our teachers and teacher assistants to our office staff, security team and the amazing volunteers who continue to show up time and time again there are so many special people working both inside the studio and behind the scenes.

Miss Jen will be putting everyone in the spotlight and asking them the
SAME 5 questions so our MKDA families can get to know them a little better!!!

Trust us… you’re going to want to follow along because we have A LOT of incredible people to introduce. And OBVIOUSLY, we have to start with the owner, the main choreographer and the woman whose name is literally on the building…

I love that our staff & students are so caring, inclusive and create such a supportive and positive learning space.

The fact that, after 22 years of teaching, I still get nervous on week #1 of our season...I just want everything to be perfect and everyone to be happy.

We’ve had welcome-back signs, our famous MKDA glasses and SO many special moments

BUTTTTmost importantly,
we’ve seen a whole lot of BIG smiles!
I think it’s safe to say the first two weeks of Season 22 have been a HUGE success. We’re back, we’re happy and we’re only getting started!
