Paramount Live Paramount Live creates safe, welcoming spaces where artists of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds can learn, grow, and express themselves.

We celebrate inclusivity, nurture creativity, and strive for excellence in every performance. The mission of Paramount LIVE is to provide cultural enrichment in Thunder Bay through enjoyable, exciting and enlightening children's theatrical experiences. Paramount LIVE accomplishes this mission through:
- Classes in which students learn the fundamentals of performing arts, including but not limited to audition preparation, dance/movement, music, scene work, and performance;
- Theatre productions that engage students and allow them to develop their theatrical talents as well as social, emotional and academic skills; and
- Theatrical productions and events that engage the Thunder Bay community in support of local theatre.

The Rocky Horror Show is only 3 weeks away but before you grab your fishnets and start shouting from the rooftops, take a few minutes to read our Audience Participation Guide.

Learn the DOs and, more importantly, the DON’Ts of Rocky Horror audience participation so everyone can have a wild, weird, wonderful time! 👀

Know when to yell. Know when to listen. And most importantly, remember that there are real people onstage who are trying to put on a show for you!

Come prepared, come loud, come ready to participate but just play nice, respect the performers, and let’s have fun.

We ran the show for the first time this week and it’s starting to feel REAL 👀

The pieces are coming together, the harmonies are insane, the choreography is getting tighter, and we’re having way too much fun!

It’s almost time…. to do the time warp AGAIN!

Tickets are selling quickly so don’t wait to get yours. Opening night is only 5 weeks away and you’re not going to want to miss it.

The Rocky Horror Show is the legendary cult musical that has shocked, thrilled, and delighted audiences for generations. Follow the unforgettable journey of Brad and Janet as a stormy night leads them to the mysterious castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Packed with iconic songs like Time Warp, Sweet Transvestite, and Science Fiction/Double Feature.

Directed and choreographed by Spencer Hari and Katherine Nemec, with additional choreography by Allie Downie this electrifying production features musical direction by Daniel Hannah and a live band led by Shayla Rozic.

Only a few more days before we get started on our fall 2026 season but there’s still time to join us at Paramount Live! Whether your kid dreams of taking center stage, loves to sing and dance, or just wants to try something new and make some amazing friends, there’s a place for them here. 💕

This fall, our students will step into the worlds of Legally Blonde Jr. and Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.
We’re welcoming performers ages 7–11 and 12–16 (or younger/older at director’s discretion)!

💰 Scholarships are available from $100 up to FULL registration fees, thanks to our incredible sponsors and community partners, so financial barriers don’t have to keep your child from participating.

Looking for something for your little one to do this fall - we have two programs available at Paramount Live for ages 7-11 and 12-16 (or director's discretion) for any child who wants to sing, dance, create, and most importantly - make new friends and find a new community to be a part of.

THEATRE SHOULD BE FOR EVERYONE

We understand that extracurricular activities can get expensive, and we never want the cost of registration to be the reason a student has to miss out on the opportunity to sing, dance, create, make friends, and find their place on stage.

This season Paramount Live is proud to offer scholarships for students, ranging from $50 all the way up to full scholarships covering the entire registration fee.

We’re incredibly grateful to the sponsors and community members who believe in this goal and have chosen to sponsor a student so that more young people can experience the arts. We’re also proud to partner with ProKids to help further remove financial barriers and make participation in extracurricular activities more accessible to families.

The arts have the power to build confidence, create community, and give young people a place to belong. Every student deserves the chance to experience that. ✨

Looking for a creative outlet? A chance to sing, dance, and perform with friends? Maybe you want to try your hand at something new, build confidence, and meet some amazing people along the way?
